Job Title: Assistant Football Dietitian

Start Date: March 2026

 

Expected Job Responsibilities:

·             Individual consulting and team talks, with focus on freshman EDGE squad players

·             Assist with all pre and post fueling needs for football team

·             Assist Director of Sports Nutrition and Assistant Director with daily department duties as needed

·             Manage football fuel bar and fueling station, including smoothie development and management of football volunteers/interns

·             Inventory, ordering, restocking and delivery management of football fueling station food and beverage products

·             Communicate with chefs and outside vendor caterers to develop menus and organize/set up meals

·             Additional duties may be required as deemed necessary by the Director

·             Travel during season

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

·             Must be available to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as needed

·             Ability to work flexible hours and travel; may include university scheduled breaks and some holidays

·             Effective communication and managerial skills

·             Capable of following oral and written instructions; emphasis on attention to detail

·             Possess strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills

·             Must be able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, intense environment

·             Contribute to a positive team environment

·             Consistent attendance and punctuality is imperative

 

Minimum Requirements:

·          Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition or related field

·          Registered Dietitian or RD eligible within 3 months
