THE ROLE

As an O2X On-Site Registered Dietitian (RD), you will play a pivotal role in advancing the nutritional well-being of tactical athletes within various departments, agencies, and organizations. We are seeking a self-motivated, expert RD with a profound understanding of nutrition, human performance, and athlete dietary requirements. Your role will involve working closely with tactical athletes and leadership to provide specialized nutrition support, enabling them to achieve optimal physical and mental performance.


O2X On-site specialists are placed within departments, agencies, and organizations to work full-time and provide specific support to members in their areas of expertise. The role requires daily interaction with tactical athletes and leadership to assess, equip, and prepare the population for optimal performance in their jobs. This includes targeted resources within the specialists’ primary areas of focus, but also general performance guidance and coordination with the entire O2X network of industry-leading experts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, document, and provide daily oversight of nutrition services using evidence-based practices to optimize the dietary habits and performance of tactical athletes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of tactical athletes' nutritional needs, dietary habits, and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans tailored to the unique demands of tactical athletes.
  • Collaborate with the O2X team and client agency leadership to provide ongoing, objective feedback and support.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and O2X to review and enhance nutrition support for tactical athletes.
  • Serve as a liaison between O2X and the client, facilitating access to a network of nutrition resources and experts.
  • Deliver nutrition workshops and educational sessions to enhance dietary knowledge and promote healthy eating habits.
  • Engage in research and analysis to inform nutrition recommendations and stay current with emerging nutritional trends.
  • Assist in the development of long-term nutrition programs and fiscal plans.
  • Provide regular reporting, key performance indicators, and metrics related to nutrition support.
  • Utilize O2X's proprietary Tactical Performance App to efficiently deliver nutrition programs and gather feedback.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
  • Registration as a Dietitian (RD) and licensure, if applicable.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals and groups, preferably within a tactical or high-performance context (3+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in dietary assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of nutrition research, dietary guidelines, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Competitive base compensation ($73,000-$83,000), relocation available
