  • Schedule: Fully Onsite, Monday - Friday with Some Evenings and Weekends. Includes monthly travel to other school accounts in Midwest. 
  • Requirement: Must be a Registered Dietitian with CDR with 3+ Years of Experience Preferred
  • Position Details: Planning wellness events in the dining locations, act as food allergen expert, participate in menu planning and more! 
  • Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year
 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time, Onsite Performance School Dietitian to join our FISD Dining Services Team at a private school in Culver, IN! This position will also act as a resource for other private school accounts in the region with monthly travel required. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the dining management team and culinary associates to understand the dietary needs of all students, coaches and staff. 
  • Assists the food service management team with menu development to ensure dietary needs and nutrition performance goals can be achieved. 
  • Provides nutrition related training including food allergens and FLIK wellness standards to all FLIK associates
  • Manage nutrient analysis in our menu software and Team Works Nutrition. 
  • Oversee allergy management, including menu labeling and creating custom meals as needed.
  • Provide group nutrition education sessions to educate student-athletes on meal planning, hydration, and fueling strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest sports nutrition research and integrate evidence-based practices into programs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, preferably in a school, campus dining and/or food service environment
  • Knowledge of sports nutrition principles and performance preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with students, parents, and staff.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
