Who we are: Ascension St. Vincent Sports Performance (ASVSP) employs sports medicine physicians, a sports psychologist, sports dietitians, strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers and physical therapists all working under one roof. Job Duties: Serve as a sports dietitian within two entities:
a) Individual 1:1 athlete consults from our community - time in sports performance facility
b) Contract work serving the following organizations:
Indiana Fever WNBA
Carmel Fire Department
Ball State University
Zionsville High School
This position will also aid in the growth and development of our Nutrition Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years experience working in sports nutrition
2 years experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD)
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years experience working in sports nutrition
Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
Experience in collegiate athletics nutrition
Strong counseling skills
Strong communication skills and working as a multidisciplinary team member
Self-starter and ability to work autonomously
Location: ASVSP- 14455 Clay Terrace Blvd in Carmel, IN. This position does require travel to the contracts they support (mileage reimbursed)
Hours: 40hr/weeks, with ability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed by Indiana Fever
Compensation: $62,000+ based on experience
