Job Summary
Work effectively with Sports Performance and Sports Medicine to provide a comprehensive approach to Student Athlete's health and performance, with heavy emphasis on football. Provide nutrition counseling, education and medical nutrition therapy to individual football student-athletes, teams, and coaches. Assist with and coordinate student workforce to maintain the football fueling stations in an organized and food safe manner this includes maintenance, stocking, and distribution of nutritional supplements to individual student-athletes and teams. This position is for a 1-year duration with full benefits.

What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian working in the following areas: clinical nutrition, one-on-one nutrition counseling, sports nutrition, eating disorders, public speaking, budget management & procurement, food service & menu development.
Skills needed:
Excellent communication skills with both individuals and groups.
Ability to motivate constituents, including students, athletes, sports medicine staff, and administrators.
Ability to work independently.
Competence in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Understanding of athletes and their training, via coaching experience, previous employment or candidate’s own sports participation.
Knowledge of various behavior change strategies.
Knowledge and experience with dietary supplementation for athletes.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Experience with dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry.
Knowledge and experience using various types of media to reach constituents.
