“Lindsay and Jordan of Ascension St. Vincent Sports Performance helped my dietetics career take off. I could not be more grateful for this position and the consideration and care they take for new dietitians interested in sports nutrition. Their mentorship has taught and continues to teach me so much, not only just in the sports realm but in establishing confidence and finding your own flow & place as a dietitian. The variety of sports and tactical settings has expanded my horizon and taught me how to work with a variety of athletic age groups and performance settings. It’s certainly a unique sports nutrition experience that I recommend other fellow new dietitians take on!” - Meghan Schmierer MS, RD -current ASVSP fellow

“My fellowship at St. Vincent Sports Performance was one of the most influential experiences in my career.  I gained hands-on experience working with an interdisciplinary team, counseling athletes across all levels, while developing autonomy as a dietitian and a deep understanding of athlete care.  Lindsay was an incredible mentor, meeting me where I was and helping me grow in the areas I needed most.  This setting exposed me to a wide range of athletes, practitioners, and sports environments, setting me up for countless opportunities post-fellowship.”  -Colette Vartanian, MS, RD - Seattle Kraken and Armenia Basketball

“My time with SVSP was incredibly valuable as it provided me the opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners, while also giving me the chance to work independently and grow my skill set.  As a young RD, having the opportunity to work with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes challenged me as a professional to better understand the complexities and unique fueling needs of different types of athletes.  I’m grateful for my time with SVSP and would highly recommend their fellowship to aspiring Sports RD’s”  - Bailey Giancacakos, MS, RD, CSSD - Northwestern University
